03.07.2015 - A woman dances in front of the Greek Parliament in central Athens during a mass rally in support of the NO vote following the government's decision to hold a referendum regarding Greece's creditors' demands on Sunday, July 5th.

The bailout conditions, established by the so-called Troika of creditors (International Monetary Fund , European Commission, European Central Bank) included further tax rises and public spending cuts. The referendum result showed a 61% majority victory all over Greece in favor of the NO vote.

On July 13, eight days after the referendum result, the Greek government accepted a bailout deal with harsher austerity measures than the ones rejected by most Greek people on July 5th.
